Job Opening: Production Manager

We are seeking a skilled and driven Production Supervisor to join our team in Cookeville, TN. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the day shift in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in production, prior leadership experience, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely completion of work orders

• Lead, train, and motivate production team members to meet productivity and quality goals

• Monitor workflow, adjust staffing as needed, and resolve production issues promptly

• Enforce company policies and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and logistics departments to optimize operations

• Maintain accurate production records and generate reports for management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive production environment

• At least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role

• Proven ability to lead and develop a team

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices is a plus

Schedule:

• Full-time, Day Shift (Monday through Friday, occasional weekends as needed)

Compensation:

• Salary starting at $65,000 annually, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
