• Set up and tear down a work order on a CNC Machine.

• Responsible for making adjustments to offsets, and program as needed to maintain tolerances.

• Must be able to work off of blueprints

Procedures

• ? Load hoses onto the train for the vulcanizer. Run cure cycle.
• ? Move cooled hoses onto the unwrap table.
• ? Operate the unwrapper to remove rope and nylon cure tape from the hose.
• ? Apply plastic wrap as required.
• ? Re-roll rope and nylon for further use.
• ? Remove the lay line carrier strip from the hose.
• ? Cut the hose end and attach to the sled.
• ? Set proper air pressure.
• ? Clamp the hose and lock into vice.
• ? Apply air to break the hose free from the mandrel.
• ? Pull the hose free from the mandrel using the sled.
• ? Strip excess material from nipples and return to nipple storage at the main machine.
• ? Move mandrels to the main machine or storage racks as needed.
• ? Other duties: o Keep work area clean. o Empty trash cans. o Assist in other department jobs when needed or instructed by the supervisor.

Maintenance Mechanic

Flexible to rotating shift between 2 shifts 5:00 am to 8:00 pm

Salary Range: $25-$30

Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment with a focus on motor control systems. This role supports production of coating manufacturing and facility operations by ensuring all electromechanical systems such as motors, drives and automated components function properly and safely.

 Mechanical Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and hydraulics.

• Conduct routine maintenance.

• Fabricate brackets, supports, or components as needed using metalworking tools and welding equipment.

Electrical Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical systems up to 480V, including power distribution panels, lighting, and control cabinets.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, diagrams, and test equipment.

• Perform lockout/tagout procedures.

Motor Control Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC motors, motor starters, contactors, relays, and overload protection systems.

• Install and configure variable frequency drives (VFDs), soft starters, and motor protection devices.

• Test, wire, and commission motor control panels and motor circuits according to specifications.

• Read and interpret one-line diagrams, ladder logic, and control wiring diagrams.

Automation Support

• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-based control systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

• High school diploma or GED required, technical diploma or associate degree in Industrial Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance with emphasis on motor control systems.

• Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC), NFPA 70E safety standards, and industrial best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

• Familiarity with CMMS software for work orders and maintenance tracking.
