ProLogistix is seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join a leading manufacturing company in the Houston area. If you have experience operating manual machine tools, interpreting blueprints, and producing components, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, and other conventional machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, mark, and machine materials to precise dimensions and tolerances.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and indicators.
• Perform equipment adjustments and minor maintenance to ensure proper operation.
• Repair, modify, and fabricate new or existing parts as required.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience manual machinist
• experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
• experience using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
• strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
