Job Responsibilities: Operating stamping press to shape and form metal partsEnsuring precision and quality in manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate presses. Prepare and operate stamping presses to produce metal parts according to specifications. This includes loading dies, aligning them and adjusting settings for pressure and speed. Monitor Production – start press and oversee the production process, ensuring that parts are formed accurately. Inspect final products – use measuring tools (calipers, gauges) to verify that finished parts meet quality standards and specifications. Identify and document any defects. Perform maintenance – conduct routine maintenance on stamping presses and tools, including cleaning, lubricating and replacing worn components. Required skills and Qualifications:Technical skills – proficiency in operating stamping presses and understanding of metal forming techniques.Attention to detail – strong focus on precision and quality control to ensure that parts meet specifications.Problem-solving skills – Ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues effectively. Physical stamina – this role requires standing for long periods of time and performing manual tasks such as loading materials and removing finished parts.
Stand for entire shift, lift up to 50lbs and work overtime as needed
