Do you enjoy hands-on work and take pride in creating a quality finished product? We’re looking for a Knife Finishing Technician to join our Hafting Department, where you’ll help transform knives into finished products through sanding, buffing, polishing, and detailed quality inspection.

What You’ll Do

As a Knife Finishing Technician, you’ll help shape, smooth, and finish knives to meet quality standards before they move to the next step in production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sanding, buffing, and polishing equipment
• Smooth rough edges and remove scratches or imperfections
• Shape knife handles and bolsters for a consistent finished appearance
• Inspect products before, during, and after processing to ensure quality standards are met
• Change sanding belts, replace buffing wheels, and apply polishing compounds as needed
• Perform basic equipment upkeep and maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality
• Follow work instructions and support quality and engineering initiatives when needed

• High School Diploma or GED
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Comfortable working with their hands
• Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
• Adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
