Product Builder Responsibilities

• Assemble small medical devices using small plastic pieces and small wires.
• Raises atypical observations and notifies management/quality as required.
• Identifies and raise opportunities for procedural improvements. Supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Operate in a clean room environment within required gowning, aseptic behaviors, and proper flow procedures; performs general cleanroom housekeeping, including room and equipment cleaning(s), disposal of trash and recyclables, and adherence to 5S standards.
• Addresses corrections to all executed documentation in a timely manner to support lot release.
• Perform basic math skills
• Other duties as assigned

We are seeking a skilled Bindery Operator to join our team in the printing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining bindery/copy equipment to produce high-quality printed materials.  Loading and unloading the paper for the machines.  This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of print processes, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

– Must be able to move/lift paper boxes (25lbs – 50lbs) on a regular basis.

 Qualifications

• Skill in making adjustments to powered machines using hand tools (i.e. wrenches, screwdrivers, punches, knives) as well as more specialized hand tools, usually furnished by the machine manufacturer
• Ability to read and interpret written work which indicates the number and sequence of machine operations required to complete the work and maintain dimensional accuracy in accordance with instructions provided
• Knowledge of operating procedures for bindery equipment such as folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines
• Working knowledge of the set up, adjustment, procedures, capabilities and limitations of equipment to perform the full range of standard and specialized folding, collating, and cutting of printed materials to complete a finished product

QC Inspector is responsible for performing inspections on packaged materials, and finished goods per approved methods, procedures and specifications. Incoming packaging inspectors interface with purchasing and packaging engineer and in some cases customers and vendors to resolve quality issues with incoming packaging.

Finished goods inspectors interact with all levels of production management in assuring that finished goods meet required quality standards. Perform inspections of packaging and/ or finished goods Document inspections, provide dispositions on results of inspections.

Issue QMR’s (questionable material report) as required. Assist management in troubleshooting quality problems. Participate in customer audits. Requirements: Preferred experience: related industry (cosmetic, food, pharmaceuticals) experience in the quality function.
