JOB SUMMARY: Under direct supervision can set up and operates gas and electric welding equipment used in the manufacturing of metal cabinets. Responsible for meeting safety, quality and productivity expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Under supervision, sets up and operates different types of equipment used to weld metal cabinets and other related products.
• Plans details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements.
• Welds sheet metal using different welding positions (flat, overhead, vertical, etc.).
• Cleans and prepares surfaces (including sanding) to be welded.
• Uses cutting torch equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.
• Builds up worn or defective surfaces.
• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Works from blueprint, engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Upon completion of welding operations, assists other areas as needed.

Technical Competencies:

• High school or equivalent education preferred.
• Must have 3 years or more of MIG Welding experience.
• Production welding with sheet metal experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the capability of welding sheet metal products by passing welding test.
• Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Proficient in using measuring devices as required for product inspection.
• Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demands dictates.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

The Marketing Communications Specialist & Event Coordinator helps plan and execute the marketing communications initiatives that support and align to the strategic goals for all business segments of the company. Must be fluent in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

• Coordinates all marketing activities
• Manages and coordinates the execution and logistics of all activities related to trade shows and customer events to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or at least 3 years of proven experience in a fast-paced communications or marketing related position.
• Previous trade show/event experience required. Minimum of 3 years experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be comfortable with communicating and presenting to all levels within the organization.
• Previous experience coordinating with cross-functional departments like Product Marketing, Procurement, Engineering and Sales Departments.
• Understanding of Graphic Design. Experience or knowledge of these tools is a plus: Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
• Self-motivated, good at taking initiative and comfortable operating under a degree of ambiguity and work both independently and as part of a team.
