Job Opening: Guard Shack Associate
Description
- Access Control & Credential Verification: Opening gates and doors exclusively for authorized personnel, checking identification badges, matching visitors against approved rosters, and validating commercial driver's licenses.
- Logistics & Traffic Logging: Maintaining thorough paper or digital logs of all inbound and outbound vehicle traffic. This includes tracking semi-truck arrivals, carrier names, trailer numbers, and arrival/departure timestamps.
- Vehicle & Cargo Inspections: Examining outgoing delivery trucks and passenger vehicles to verify that cargo loads are secure and preventing the unauthorized removal of company property.
- Surveillance & Perimeter Security: Monitoring Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) feeds, checking perimeter alarm systems, and watching for suspicious behavior around the facility boundaries.
- Customer Service & Facility Navigation: Greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, and directing delivery drivers or contractors to specific docks, parking zones, or buildings on the premises.
- Reporting & Emergency Communication: Documenting daily activities in a shift log and writing formal incident reports if a safety protocol is breached, property damage occurs, or an emergency arises
