Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join the manufacturing team in Imperial, PA. This role is responsible for welding steel sub-assemblies to AWS standards and supporting the launch and documentation of dock leveler manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, accountable for their work, and experienced with fabrication equipment and blueprint interpretation.
Key Responsibilities
- Weld steel sub-assemblies in accordance with AWS B2.1 / B2.1M standards
- Create, prove out, and document dock leveler manufacturing processes with a strong focus on welding
- Actively participate as a launch team member implementing welding, painting, and assembly processes
- Maintain accountability for all aspects of assigned work
- Measure and verify dimensions using rulers, measuring tapes, and squares
- Align and position components per blueprints using hammers, pry bars, jacks, wedges, or other tools
- Mark cut locations and manipulate steel through cutting, hammering, bending, and grinding
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications before and during fabrication to ensure accuracy
- Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, and shears
- Create templates for repetitive fabrication tasks to ensure consistency and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work specifications
- AWS B2.1 / B2.1M qualified welder

POSITION SUMMARY:
Working under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing quality car care products by processing, mixing and blending in an industrial environment.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verifies correct materials required for blending on batch requirements.
- Locate raw materials and documents transactions.
- Blends raw materials and sends to processing
- Inspecting equipment and its parts to assure conformance to specifications.
- Efficiently operate, maintains, change over and monitors process equipment.
- Inspect and make blending adjustment to product and equipment as needed.
- Keep proper documentation of weights, contents, batching, mixing, production, quality and downtime.
- Troubleshoot and advise production supervisor of any and all problems.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at the employee’s assigned workstation(s).
- Observes all safety rules and procedures while performing duties, including maintaining PPE.
- Achieving or surpassing established operational standards.·
- Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisors and Managers.
