Summary of Position:

Responsible for complete set-up/start-up of all assigned jobs to include changing molds. Will be able to repeat process, troubleshoot, and document set-up. Provide training to new process technicians. Ability to perform routine maintenance to production molds as required. Knowledge of robotic automation and troubleshooting. Responsible to complete material handling duties when necessary and assist with breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately perform process parameter checks and fill out the necessary documents for your assigned machines at start up.
• Complete assigned mold changes in a timely and accurate fashion as posted on machine. Perform start-ups in a timely and accurate fashion using proper procedures and paperwork.
• Achieve specified 95% shot weight.
• Correctly fill out Parameter Sheet and Start-up Sheet
• Ensure the press is capable of running to the standard cycle time.
• Present first shot to the Q.A. for approval.
• Keep track of all start-up scrap.
• Clean up purging’s when they are made.
• Practice proper housekeeping practices.
• Ensure that all parts are contained within the chutes and bins when the press is started.
• Remove all unnecessary waterlines from the machine and hang them up in designated areas.
• Get line-up from previous shift and give line-up to oncoming shift. Communicate problems and activities to correct them. Complete all other tasks as assigned for safe and efficient operation of the plant. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete and turn in appropriate documentation to personnel designated on sample request. Trouble shoot processes as necessary to ensure efficient job performance.
• Use 6 – step method to verify the process is running within set guidelines.
• Participate in 8D solving as required.
• Assist in developing means of permanent resolution to customer complaints. Participate in the Continuous Improvement program.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Prior process/mold technician experience/cross training preferred

Schedule: 1st shift 7:50a-4:20p  2nd shift 3:50p-12:20a

Pay Rate: $16.25-$16.75

Position Summary:

The Production Packaging Associate is an entry-level role responsible for the proper packaging of materials and finished products. This role includes operating packaging equipment, loading and moving materials, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The associate is expected to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and contribute to a clean, efficient, and team-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packaging & Equipment Operation:

  • Operate packaging machinery safely and efficiently on assigned production lines.

  • Monitor conveyor systems; clear bottle jams and ensure smooth operation.

  • Conduct drop tests on bottles as required.

  • Discard defective bottles and escalate quality issues to supervisors.

  • Package products accurately in accordance with customer specifications.

• Quality & Safety:

  • Perform hourly quality inspections to support Operator Driven Quality.

  • Adhere to all GMPs and report any product or process defects immediately.

  • Wear proper PPE and follow all safety procedures, including “Stop, Think, Act.”

  • Escalate safety or operational abnormalities promptly.

• Teamwork & Communication:

  • Exhibit a “One Team” mindset by working effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain punctuality and adhere to assigned work schedules.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and leadership.

• Housekeeping:

  • Keep workstations neat, clean, and well-organized at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus.

• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
