Job Opening: Janitor

Sheet Metal company in San Jose, CA is in need of a Janitor

Work schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am -3:30pm ( able to work weekends) 

Job duties: 

• Makes rounds of building at regular intervals collecting garbage, sweeping, maintaining grounds
• Cleans and services shop floor, perimeter parking lots, loading dock, and restrooms       
• Sweeps, dust, vacuums, and mops shop and restroom floors       
• Gathers, sorts, and disposes of rubbish, waste, and recycling materials       
• Sort, reclaim, organize and/or dispose of pallets as needed      
• Keeps building clean and safe from spills or debris, spill cleanups when necessary Sweep parking lot for nails, screws, rivets, and other items that can damage tires       
• Makes coffee and restocks employee breakrooms
• Assembling, moving, cleaning, maintaining office furniture       
• Performs related duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, chemicals, and equipment required of a janitorial service.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. solo, 80 lbs. with help.
