Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor tube filling machinery and supporting equipment efficiently and safely.
- Follow Production Work Orders and ensure all required components and materials are available for the line.
- Maintain line performance and labor efficiencies according to established production standards.
- Issue components and accurately report production data.
- Follow all food safety, GMP, and occupational safety procedures and policies.
- Report machine malfunctions, breakdowns, or operational concerns to Manufacturing Supervisor and Maintenance teams.
- Assist Maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repair activities as needed.
- Perform line cleaning, startup, shutdown, changeovers, and line clearance procedures.
- Coordinate and delegate tasks to packers during production startup, changeovers, and sanitation activities.
- Conduct in-line quality checks including fill weights, package integrity, seal integrity, lot codes, and expiration date verification.
- Complete all required production and quality documentation accurately and timely.
- Support implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Maintain a positive and professional work environment while promoting accountability and teamwork.
- Cross-train and operate additional production equipment as needed during seasonal or operational demands.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
