This role involves working around chemical and biological hazards, operating specialized tools, and ensuring compliance with environmental safety regulations to protect the public water supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Trenching & Shoring: Excavate trenches, lay bedding materials, and install shoring or trench boxes to prevent cave-ins.
• Pipe Installation: Align and connect concrete, PVC, clay, and ductile iron sewer pipes using gaskets, couplings, and solvent welding.
• System Testing: Assist in performing hydrostatic, low-pressure air, and deflection testing to ensure pipeline structural integrity and watertight joints.
