This person would be responsible for constructing 1” to 4” diameter rubber hoses onto a spinning steel mandrel. They need to be able to follow written instructions, identify different materials, be organized and have attention to detail. It includes a lot of walking and standing, some bending and work with up to 50 lbs.

Manufacturing Company Located at Clearwater, FL is seeking for reliable and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting daily operations in a fast-paced [industry, e.g.,manufacturing/production/warehouse] environment.

Pay Rate: $23-$26 DOE

Shifts

1st Shift- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the potential overtime for up to 10 hours daily, as needed. (Mandatory)

2nd Shift – Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM, with mandatory overtime on Fridays during the same shift hours, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, machinery, and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with CMMS or maintenance logging systems (preferred).
