Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel components ranging from 16-gauge to 1/4” thickness. Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment, including torches, gas flow, and filler materials. Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet sanitary and aesthetic standards. Fit, align, and tack components prior to final welds.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication. Inspect welds, identify defects, and complete repairs as needed while maintaining high-quality standards with minimal supervision. Support team members, including mentoring less experienced welders.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process standards, and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Ability to identify tubing and fittings per specifications and qualify per ASME Section IX requirements is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous tube filling machine operation experience required.

• Food manufacturing or packaging experience preferred.

• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred.

• ERP/MRP system experience preferred.

• Prior experience using

Machine Operators with 6 months experience or more!

Machine Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing output. This role plays a critical part in meeting production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Operate and monitor machinery according to established procedures

Set up equipment and make necessary adjustments for production runs

Perform routine inspections to ensure machines are functioning properly

Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate when necessary

Maintain consistent production quality and meet output targets

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production schedules

Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Accurately record production data and report any discrepancies

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve processes

We’re Hiring Machine Operator: Conventional Grinder

1st and 2nd shift available

Pay rate: DOE

This company is an FAA 145 Repair Station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul. Currently we are seeking talented individuals to perform conventional grinding of landing gear components using machinery such as;

• Gap Grinders – 1st. Shift
• O/D Grinders – 2nd. Shift
• I/D Grinders – 2nd. Shift
• Flat/Surface Grinder – 2nd. Shift

Responsibilities include;

• Set up and machine operations on high strength steel and aluminum parts.
• May run one or more machines on a regular basis.
• Each machinist is responsible for ensuring that machine work meets dimensional tolerances as noted on shop planning and that defects are removed within specified limits.
• To inspect parts visually and dimensionally, and perform clean-up operations as required such as deburr and breaking of edges

Knowledge and Skill Requirements.

• The ability to read, write and understand English
• Detail oriented
• Ability to read and understand OHM/ CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches
• Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, nickel plate, cad plate and various thermal sprayed surfaces
• Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but not limited too; micrometers, dial bore gages, telescope gages, height gages, and indicators
• General knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment

Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated
