Job Summary:
Position requires assembly of all electrical and mechanical assembly of components and packaged equipment.
Duties:
• Perform manual processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies, using hand, electric and pneumatic tooling
• Reports defective material or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedule with minimum supervision
• Other duties as directed by supervisor Requirements:
• Ability to establish methods and procedures
• Familiarity with assembly and measuring tools, interpretation of visual aids and ability to perform simple shop math

Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining production efficiency and quality by ensuring the proper operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Supports compliance with the company’s SQF program and health and safety standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machinery by following diagrams, manuals, and specifications.

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical malfunctions using precision measuring and testing instruments.
-
Dismantle and repair defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools; inspect parts for wear and dimensional accuracy.
-
Adjust machine components and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
-
Reduce downtime by training production workers in routine maintenance techniques and monitoring adherence.
-
Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools and equipment.
-
Manage maintenance inventory, including ordering, receiving, and verifying parts and supplies.

Provide technical maintenance support and respond to requests for information.

Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.

Stay current with industry knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
