The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large-scale print requirements, color management, and file preparation standards for various substrates and output devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and preflight incoming artwork for resolution, color accuracy, bleed, scaling, and correct file setup.
• Prepare and manipulate digital files in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and RIP software for grand format printing.
• Ensure files are set up for the correct material size, print method, and finishing specifications.
• Convert and adjust files for CMYK, spot colors, or Pantone matching as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve file issues before printing to minimize errors and reprints.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and print operators to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards.
• Archive, organize, and maintain a consistent file management system.
• Operate prepress equipment such as plotters or cutters when needed for proofing or finishing prep.
• Maintain awareness of substrate specifications, printer capabilities, and finishing processes.
