Job Descriptions for the Sample Puller/CIP include:

  • Ability to follow FDA guidelines as written in the PMO.
  • Ability to ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed when pulling samples.
  • Able to recognize and match numbers and letters on seal tags and tankers.
  • Able to attach and unattached hoses to and from tanker.
  • Ability to keep work area and samples clean and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

 

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements as a Sample Puller/CIP:

  • Ability to lift up to 50-100 pounds.
  • Ability to work in the elements, dry, hot, cold, and wet.

JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs maintenance duties, grounds and building maintenance and repair work.
  2. Assists with the installation of electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.
  3. Assists with the testing and maintenance of equipment using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.
  4. Performs skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.
  5. Utilizes a wide variety of hand and portable power tools.
  6. Checks and repairs pumps, fans, valves, and motors.
  7. Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter change and the like.
  8. Assists in the movement of furniture, materials and equipment as required.
  9. Reports needs for major repairs to Production Manager.
  10. Responsible for the security of the building under the supervision of the Safety Manager.
  11. Prepares accurate records for preventative maintenance.
  12. Assists with the troubleshooting of equipment at the component level.

 

Technical Competencies:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
  • Considerable knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
  • Skill in the care and use of tools and equipment used in the trades involved.
  • Ability to detect defects in equipment and to make proper repairs or adjustments.
  • Ability to interpret and work from pencil sketches and diagrams.

Summary:

Machine Operator works under minimal supervision, is able to perform all levels of repair and
maintenance; expert in troubleshooting minor mechanical repairs for at least (8) machines. Compliance
with all Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), SOP’s, and Safety Procedures.
Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

• Plan changeover schedule for each machine/line to include changeover parts are cleaned and
inspected prior to each changeover, review changeover checklist, set-up, and start-up each piece of
equipment, and support machine/line until operation is achieved.
• Use of hand tools, portable power tools, and material handling equipment to perform a precision
set-up during production line change over.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on equipment by making regular inspections and
completing assigned preventive maintenance work orders.
• Assist Maintenance Technician in diagnosing problems to learn to perform complex repairs.
• Accountable for the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of equipment, including mechanical and
programmable controls, as well as completing the necessary filler, blender, encapsulators, tablet
presses, coating, conveyor, vacuum transfer systems, and palletizer adjustments for changeovers.
• Assists team in teardown/setting up heavy machinery, operating various equipment, sanitization
(major/minor clean)
• Performs manual aspects of the operation process, including but not limited to making boxes,
loading machines, hand packing product, visual and physical checks of in process and finished
materials as trained and instructed by supervisor, in compliance with all safety and cGMP
procedures.

You’ll need the following (minimum qualifications):

• Minimum of year (6) year of experience in Manufacturing/Packaging or related field.

• Possesses a genuine desire to work in Manufacturing/Packaging truly likes working within all aspects of the manufacturing process.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Shift and Pay: 

  • 6:30am – 3:15pm – $18.00/hr
  • 7:15pm – 4:00am – $19.00/hr

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Follows Standard Work Process. Performs a specific task or a number of predetermined tasks in the assembly process.
  • Performs repetitive tasks such as attaching or affixing pre-manufactured components and parts to main product as it moves through the production line.
  • Prepares parts for shipment.
  • Notifies Team Leader of defective parts, equipment, tools, materials, nonstandard assembly work or other conditions, which hinder the assembly process.
  • Ensures that the time, material and waste is minimized.
  • Other duties as assigned.
