Starting Pay for All Shifts is $15.00 an Hour, As Needed OT pay is $22.50 an Hour.

Shifts Available

• Day Shift working 6a to 4:30p Monday thru Thursday (Offset)
• Day Shift working 6a to 4:30p Monday thru Friday (Paper)
• Day Shift working 4a to 4p rotating 4 day work week then 3 day work week, no weekends (Foam)
• Night Shift working 4p to 4a rotating 4 day work week then 3 day work week, no weekends (Foam)

Job Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines
• Follow standard work instructions as assigned
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach
• May utilize basic hand tools
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Identify and resolve problems concerning equipment and materials
• Ensure product meets customer specifications
• Meet production standards
• Work in a team environment
• Accurate recordkeeping and quality documentation

SMT Machine Operator – 1st Shift (Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire)

Location: Stacy, MN Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $20.00–$23.00/hour DOE Employment Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

A manufacturing company in Stacy, MN is seeking a detail-oriented SMT Machine Operator to support Surface Mount Technology (SMT) production. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting SMT equipment to ensure quality electronic assemblies are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate SMT equipment including solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI systems
• Load and unload components and feeders while minimizing loss or damage
• Read and interpret work instructions, bills of materials, assembly drawings, and component polarity
• Perform in-process quality inspections and verify solder paste and component placement accuracy
• Hand place components as needed and make program adjustments to improve quality
• Perform light, routine maintenance on SMT equipment
• Identify process or component issues and communicate promptly
• Maintain organized components and a clean, safe SMT work area
• Work cooperatively with team members and support production schedules

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of SMT or related manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Experience working under magnification or microscope
• Familiarity with ESD safety and IPC-A-610 standards
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and sit or stand for extended periods
• Able to pass background check and drug screen
