OVERVIEW
The QA Inspector I inspect sub-assemblies, finished assemblies, packaging and labeling. Inspections include receiving, in-process, final inspections and rework. Completes and interprets Statistical Process Control Charts and histograms, both manually and using computer aided methods. Informs production personnel of non-conforming material, aids in the investigation of causes and corrective action, and follows up on the effectiveness of action taken. Prepares various logs, reports and documentation of quality processes.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Inspects parts and assemblies being produced per established procedures and AQLs
•Reviews defective parts, analyzes them and provides feedback to production personnel
•Generates Defective Material Reports (DMR) for non-conforming materials
•Completes and enters inspection data into Infinity Software (SPC)
•Stops production in the event of manufacture of unacceptable goods/processes
•Undertakes special assignments as required
•Contributes and participates in continuous improvement activities
•Position requires an individual who is enthusiastic, hardworking and team player

•Understands how to use and apply correct inspection tools/equipment for various inspection methods

Working with torque wrenches, hand drills, die grinders and other hand tools.
Working with plumbing and valves, piping and other components.
Read blueprints, schematics, BOM's, component specification documents, and other technical documentation to assemble, and test electrical panel sub-assemblies.
Basic knowledge and functional understanding of basic electronics principles.
Loading PLC and touch screen control software.
System testing to include ring out and I/O control logic, and function tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical panel malfunctions as needed.
Proficient in the use of measurement equipment (calipers, tape measures, and compound squares), hand tools, and power tools (jig saw, horizontal band saw, belt sander, drill, chop saw, grinder).

Utilizing the techniques of dialogue, inquiry and storytelling, the primary responsibility of this role will be to educate visitors about Toyota’s core values, employment opportunities, community initiatives and the company’s vision for the future of mobility.
In this role, Ambassadors will be required to narrate scripted tours and safely drive electric trams in a high-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be energetic, enthusiastic, cheerful and willing to learn. Successful employees will have an interest in working with people—especially students—and be willing to become actively involved in the programs of the Experience Center.
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule tour reservations via phone and online registration system
- Support public tours by driving an electric tram and narrating up to three to four tours daily, four to five days a week—some evenings and/or Saturdays with advanced notice
- Complete required safety training to drive and work in plant areas—renew training annually
- Aid in the loading and unloading tour guests
- Prepare and clean PPE (personal protective equipment) after each tour
- Give presentations in front of large, diverse groups of people
- Prepare, update and fact-check tour materials
- Perform phone and email outreach to cultivate and expand tour guest base
- Record and report any unusual incidents or violation of safety guidelines
What You’ll Bring:
- Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma
- Computer experience with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to speak in front of groups of people

- Ensure that quality pulls are performed on every project following the company guidelines

- Plumbs and squares fittings.
- Prepares and cleans assembly for welding.
- Confers with Piping Designer(s) to define and solve manufacturing/design issues.
- Operates overhead crane, forklift, lift trucks or hand trucks to move skid and/or related parts to proper work area.
- Maintains clean and organized work area.

Summary
The Painter Technician is responsible for preparing and painting components and parts to quality and safety standards to prepare for shipping.
Minimum Qualifications
Previous painting experience mixing and applying an automotive grade, three-part epoxy paint on small and large assemblies required
- Painter 1 – Minimum 6 months – 5 years
- Painter 2 – 6 – 14 years
- Senior Painter – 15 years or more
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, and written directions.
Essential Functions
The painter’s main responsibility is to prepare parts and /or assemblies for painting.
Prepare/mix paint (primer and topcoat) and apply paint to parts and assemblies to company quality and safety standards.
Inspect wet and dry paint mill thickness to ensure it meets company expectations for desired paint life.
Monitor material levels and report any shortages/issues to his/her supervisor.
Ensure that equipment is maintained, cleaned, and serviced on regular schedules.
Communicate with paint vendor and supervisor to assist with process improvements

Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
- Operate and maintain hand conduit benders and pipe threaders
- Pull wiring through conduit without damage or wear
- Splice wires by stripping insulation, twisting or soldering, and applying tape or caps
- Connect wiring to lighting fixtures, heaters, and other basic electrical components
- Install switches, receptacles, and circuit-breaker panels
- Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads
- Learn and apply testing techniques to verify circuit continuity and safety using multimeters
- Other duties as assigned

The primary purpose of the Process Technician is to work with the Shift Supervisor to operate, troubleshoot, document, and communicate on all equipment that is not performing within specifications. This position may perform supervisory tasks such as: designating Packer / Handlers and other team members to meet production schedules, opening/closing the building as required, and overseeing employees in the absence of management.
