What You’ll Do:

• Assist with taking molds apart, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling

• Help with basic mechanical fixes on molds and equipment

• Keep tools and parts organized and ready for quick changeovers

• Update maintenance and tool records using our system

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical or hands-on experience (tools, machines, or maintenance)

• Automotive, industrial, or mold experience is a plus

Our client in Lansing is looking for CNC Machinists for a 6 month project. There is the possibility of extending. Positions are on 2nd & 3rd shift paying $18.00-22.00 per hour based on experience.

CNC Machinist Duties Include:

• Operate CNC machines within specified tolerences

Machine Operator job duties:

• Grinding, filing, sanding of surfaces of dies, punches and other parts using hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of metal finishing techniques
• Polishing the surface to a smooth finish according to customer requirements
• Process the order in a timely manner to assure production schedule and quality standards are met
• Assist with removal of coating from tools
• Assist with the cleaning of tools prior to coating
• Other duties as assigned
