The Injection Mold Process Engineer is responsible for establishing the Injection Molding process for the Ripley injection molding machines and creating standard production processes with machine and quality controls. BASIC FUNCTIONS:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This position requires strong knowledge of FAA regulations, quality systems, and precision measuring instruments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Conduct in-process and final inspections in accordance with priorities established in the manufacturing /production plan.
• Ensures that product conforms to standards by correctly reading blueprints and applicable specifications and effectively using inspection measuring equipment.
• Able to perform open set ups for first piece inspections and validations.
• Knowledge of dimensional inspection using a surface plate, height indicator, caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, optical comparator and equivalent inspection tools.
• Experience inspecting machined castings, electronic components, surface finish, plating and including deburring plating and welding.
• Perform first article inspection reports in accordance with AS9102 standards.
• Support non-conforming product procedures, first article inspections, source inspections, and audits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience is required.
• Lean Manufacturing concepts experience a plus.
• Proficient in English language, read and write.
• Familiar working under AS9100 and ISO 9000 standard practices.
