Job Opening: Aerospace Fabricator

ResourceMFG is now hiring AEROSPACE FABRICATORS in Sterling Hts, MI!

CONTRACT-TO-HIRE

SHIFT:

5:00a/6:00a-Finish (up to 10 hrs)

Possibly moving to 2nd shift in November 2:00pm-Finish

PAY:

$24.00 – $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

DESCRIPTION:

This job is for a site that manufactures metal components and manufacturing solutions (automotive, heavy trucking, aerospace, medical, military, and other industries).

DUTIES:

• Utilize hand tools/measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc) to ensure accurate dimensions of fabricated parts
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines including break press, metal muncher, rollers, etc
• Ability to read blueprints
• Lay out, measure and inspect part dimensions to blueprints using height gauges, micrometers, dial instructions and calipers
• Experience in qualifying sheet metal parts to fit models, check fixtures and or print specifications
• Shear, punch, brake or otherwise fabricate parts per established procedures and production standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong background in sheet metalworking
• Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for fabrication and modification
• Knowledge of welding techniques and soldering skills
• Familiarity with airless paint spraying and auto painting techniques
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted; anything 50 pounds or over will have lifting aids available and or a two-man lift will be required.
