Job Summary

The Production Technician supports the manufacturing of composite materials by performing a variety of production and material-handling tasks under supervision. This role involves assisting with composite processes such as resin mixing, pre-pregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting, while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop hands-on experience in a manufacturing or composites environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacturing of composite materials using various processes, including resin mixing, pre-pregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting
• Support the setup and operation of production lines such as fiber processing, resin mixing, or prepreg lines under supervision
• Operate basic production equipment and tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Safely handle chemicals, resins, and composite materials in compliance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Monitor material flow and report any production or quality issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general production tasks as assigned to support workflow and delivery schedules

Qualifications & Skills

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production processes
• Ability to safely operate basic production tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and chemical handling requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift materials as required by the position
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and machinery
