POSITION PURPOSE: Loading, unloading, and blending of products in a safe and efficient manner.  Controlling quality and storage of liquid products to and from tanks, rail car, and trucks.  Coordinates operational procedures, packaging, and supervision of bulk materials.

 

DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and perform rework or disposition of packaging component, such as bottles and cartons, that are damaged or otherwise non-conforming.
  • Manage overall packaging quarantine area and lead recovery team in handling and disposition of such items.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with disposition of damaged or nonconforming items, such as leaking bottles or other non-saleable products.
  • Transport product to packaging quarantine area for disposal.
  • Drive forklift or assist forklift drivers as needed.
  • Sort product to minimize accumulation of salvage.
  • Work with supervisors to prioritize and implement continuous improvement activities.
  • Lead and oversee teams of temporary workers during large-scale dumping or rework of finished good projects.

Position Overview

Our team is looking for a Test Technician to join them. To perform electrical tests on Circuit assemblies and electronic chassis assemblies utilizing DIT-MCO testing system, CableScan and Lab View systems. You will report to the Director of Engineering, support Test Engineers and will have an onsite work schedule in Chatsworth, CA. .

As a Test Technician, you will:

  • Develop testing procedures and programs
  • Perform analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products
  • Perform test equipment and fixturing design responsibility
  • Perform maintenance resolution on testing procedures

To be considered for the Test Engineer role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

Mission

Manage the company’s quality systems in support of achieving zero escapes and continuously improving manufacturing yields.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely resolution to customer inquiries.
  • Returned Material Authorization (RMA) coordination and disposition.
  • Corrective Action Report (ICAR, CCAR, SCAR) generation and coordination.
  • Perform scheduled internal quality system audits, process audits, Nadcap audits and supplier audits.
  • Maintain calibration system.
  • Maintain quality procedures (QP’s) and work instructions (QAI’s and PCM’s) to conform to all applicable customer requirements, industry standards and registration systems.
  • Maintain all required certifications: AS9100; Nadcap; IPC-6012; IPC-6013; IPC-6018; MIL-PRF-55110; MIL-PRF-50884; MIL-PRF-31032; IPC-1710; UL.
  • Submit test samples to outside labs for tests (CL 3/A, IST, HATS, Group B, Group C, PCI, CVI, etc.).
  • Generate and submit MIL-PRF-31032 periodic reports
  • Utilization of SPC and MSA to ensure process capabilities and control.
  • Technical Review Board (TRB) involvement when required.
  • Follow all environmental, health and safety policies, guidelines and regulations.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of quality systems.
  • Understanding of current IPC, military and customer specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to read, interpret and work from customer drawings, specifications and standards.
  • Understanding of quality and statistical measurements, including SPC, DOE, Cpk, MSA, GR&R, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong technical writing skills and customer interface skills.
  • Ability to read microsections.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.    Under supervision, sets up and operates different types of equipment used to weld metal cabinets and other related products. 
2.    Plans details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements.
3.    Welds sheet metal using different welding positions (flat, overhead, vertical, etc.).  
4.    Cleans and prepares surfaces (including sanding) to be welded.  
5.    Uses cutting torch equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.

  • Inspect equipment daily and report any issues immediately

  • Follow all safety rules and company policies

  • At least six months of recent experience operating Sit Down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack

  • Proof of education (high school diploma or GED required)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to safety and detail

  • Reliable attendance and teamwork skills

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
