Human Resources Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support the on-boarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and maintaining personnel records.
• Maintain and update HR databases and employee files to ensure accurate and compliant record-keeping.
• Assist with benefits administration, timekeeping, and payroll processing as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR-related questions.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with HR projects as assigned.
• Support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in HR or administrative support preferred.
• Knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and HR software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• 2 years’ experience in timekeeping, payroll and recruiting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
