Growing Peoria Company Has Openings for CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machine Operators

Family-Type Atmosphere at Convenient Peoria Location

• Operates and maintains CNC Vertical Machine or CNC Horizontal Machine

• Reviews work instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.

• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping. • Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.

• Maintains part production at machining center.

• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects.

• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.

• Maintains a safe and clean workstation.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed. Skills Required

• Training and experience in the operation of CNC machines including horizontal and/or vertical and/or lathes.

• Must be proficient in using everyday machinist tools (calipers, micrometer, gauges, etc....)

• Must work well as part of a team.

• Must be prompt and dependable.

• Self-starter; calm under pressure

• Excellent coordination and mechanical skills

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in math

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive task.
