The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of CNC machining, precision measurement tools, and production procedures. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The CNC Mill Operator will be responsible for accurately and efficiently operating CNC vertical milling machines to produce quality parts, troubleshooting and resolving set-up or process issues, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC vertical milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

• Perform set-ups, tool changes, and adjustments as needed.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and GD&T specifications.

• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve machining or process issues quickly and effectively.

• Maintain equipment in optimal condition through regular cleaning, inspection, and preventative maintenance.

• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized production environment.

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of previous CNC Mill operation experience preferred; minimum 1 year of any CNC operation required.

• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measurement tools.

• Understanding of production procedures and manufacturing processes.

• Experience with geometric tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Self-motivated with excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

• Reliable work ethic and ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
