We are looking for a manufacturing production worker who can help with stripping and unwrapping hoses in the Haw River area!

Pay rate: $17

Hours: 2:30pm- 11:00pm

Operate stripping table and related equipment to remove mandrels from hoses.

Procedures

• Load hoses onto the train for the vulcanizer. Run cure cycle.
• Move cooled hoses onto the unwrap table.
• Operate the unwrapper to remove rope and nylon cure tape from the hose.
• Apply plastic wrap as required.
•  Re-roll rope and nylon for further use.
• Remove the lay line carrier strip from the hose.
• Cut the hose end and attach to the sled.
• Set proper air pressure.
• Clamp the hose and lock into vice.
• Apply air to break the hose free from the mandrel.
• Pull the hose free from the mandrel using the sled.
• Strip excess material from nipples and return to nipple storage at the main machine.
• Move mandrels to the main machine or storage racks as needed.
• Other duties: o Keep work area clean. o Empty trash cans. o Assist in other department jobs when needed or instructed by the supervisor.
