The welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welds on metal components used in solar energy systems, following precise specifications to ensure durability, safety, and compliance with production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components used in solar pipe systems.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
- Set up welding equipment, select proper materials, and prepare parts for welding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and compliance with specifications.
- Use grinders, cutters, and other fabrication tools as needed for finishing.
- Follow all safety protocols including wearing proper PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, welding shields, gloves, etc.).
- Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with production team members, supervisors, and quality control staff to meet daily production goals.

$20.00/HOUR WITH CONFIRMED EXPERIENCE(RESUME SUBMISSION & CLIENT INTERVIEW REQUIRED)
6:00AM-4:30PM Monday thru Friday with potential mandatory weekend overtime
Key Accountabilities:
• Lead team of Quality Inspectors to accurately inspect raw materials and products visually, as well as with gauges, scales, or other measurement instruments as required and according to work instructions
• Segregate non-conforming parts or material
• Complete required documentation for work performed
• Perform data entry of work results into appropriate databases
• Perform final inspection to reconcile outgoing shipments, as required
• May be required to identify causes of non-conformance
• Meet all TKMNA employee attributes and competencies

• Applicants must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand and or squat for extended periods of time.
• Any specific or specialized training will be done on site.
• Must go through safety training and orientation prior to starting.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
