Durham, NC –

Morning Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Evening Shift – 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

$23 to $32 per hour DOE

We are seeking skilled sheet metal Press Brake Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Durham, NC. In this role, you will set up and operate press brake machines to form high-quality metal components according to engineering specifications. Job Requirements

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
• Select, install, and adjust tooling including dies, punches, and back gauges
• Program CNC press brakes or adjust manual controls as required
• Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Perform first-article inspections and verify tolerance compliance
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
• Communicate production issues or improvement opportunities to supervisors
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 to 3 years of press brake experience preferred, entry-level candidates considered
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• CNC press brake experience preferred
• Knowledge of steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Middletown, PA facility produces network enclosures (racks) for the data center industry. The rack assembly lines are located inside the Schneider Electric distribution center in Middletown, PA. The 650,000 square foot facility is Schneider’s largest DC in North America. The racks are typically shipped with back-up power units (UPS) and cooling equipment that Schneider produces at other Schneider manufacturing facilities around the world. Some of our end customers include internet giants like Microsoft, Google and Amazon. Our company is currently seeking skilled assembler candidates, to carry out various tasks in our busy manufacturing area.
