Structural Fitter/ Welder Helper

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour DOE

Experience: 1-2 Years Required

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and/or Stick (SMAW) welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, grind, and fabricate metal components.
• Prepare materials and assemblies for welding and fabrication.
• Inspect welds for quality, flaws, cracks, and warping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of welding and/or structural fitting experience.
• Welding school training is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Experience working in a fabrication or structural steel shop preferred.
• Must provide your own welding hood.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
