Key Responsibilities

  • Use rigging, lifting devices, and precision measurement tools to accurately position equipment

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing company in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laser Operator for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining laser cutting equipment and additional production machinery. The Laser Operator plays an essential role in producing high-quality components while meeting productivity, quality, and safety expectations.


Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation and Setup

  • Read and interpret job tickets, CAD layouts, blueprints, and production specifications.
  • Set up and operate laser cutting machines and related production equipment.
  • Perform make-readies, including installation of tooling, dies, counters, and other setup components.
  • Monitor machines throughout production to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.
  • Perform periodic quality checks and approve work before moving jobs to the next step.

We are seeking an experienced Painter with specialized powder coating experience to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for applying high-quality powder coatings to various metal components while ensuring durability, superior finish, and adherence to company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and sandblasting as needed.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain powder coating equipment and spray guns.
  • Apply powder coatings with precision to ensure even coverage and proper finish.
  • Monitor curing processes and perform quality checks to meet production and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety protocols.

Details

  • 2nd shift 3pm-11:30 pm Monday-Friday
  • Weekend shift- 5:00am – 2:30 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • Must be able to work overtime during current peak season.
  • Pay rate $17-$18 depending on shift.

 Key Responsibilities

 Perform general cleaning of the facility, including vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.

  • Clean and stock restrooms
  • Empty trash and recycle bins.
  • Maintain cleanliness of shared areas and work spaces
  • Maintain inventory of leaning supplies and restock as needed.
  • Remove debris and snow from sidewalks as needed.
