Fabrication is the key element of this position, as the Welder builds a unit from the ground up using subcomponents from the previous step in the process given only the final drawing design from Engineering. The Welder figures out the order of fabrication for the pieces presented to him or her. A typical unit can be 5-10 feet tall and the same width and length. It takes anywhere from 1 to 3 days to fabricate a unit.

• Lead day-to-day supervision, engagement, and development of your team (coaching, training, relationship building)

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to guide fabrication
• Monitor performance, manage department costs, and stay within budget
• Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements
