Summary:

The Materials & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for delivering parts to the assembly line, maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing SAP transactions, coordinating material flow, and ensuring all parts are ordered and available to support production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•              Deliver required parts and materials to the assembly line on time.

•              Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and system updates.

•              Perform part transfers, goods issues, and other SAP transactions.

•              Monitor stock levels and resolve material shortages or discrepancies.

•              Coordinate material flow between warehouse, suppliers, and assembly areas.

•              Investigate and correct inventory inaccuracies.

•              Support production teams with timely part availability.

•              Track incoming shipments and verify receiving accuracy.

•              Maintain clean and organized parts storage areas.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•              Experience with SAP (MM or production-related modules).

•              Strong understanding of parts flow, inventory control, and material handling.

•              Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.

•              Forklift or material handling equipment experience

•              Good communication and teamwork with assembly and warehouse personnel.

•              Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Manual Machinist Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets blueprints.
• Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements. Read a tape measure and convert it to a decimal.
• Uses precision tools, machinery and equipment such as lathe, vertical milling machine, drill press, hydraulic press, chop saw, band saw and a variety of cutting tools and equipment.
• Fabricates and shapes parts such as tools and machine parts out of metal, plastics and composites.
• Properly and safely selects, aligns, secures and removes holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.
• Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling.
• Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Recommend change or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.

• Ability to track parts and jobs throughout the job process. • General knowledge of estimating time and materials for machine jobs, metals and the quality and machinability and uses of metals, alloys and other materials. • Ability to read tape measure.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties of the Job:

• Help keep the library organized and documents filed on shelves in order to assist in the retrieval of documents.
• Input document information into the library database.
• Prepare documents for off-site / on-site storage and send to appropriate locations when necessary under the guidance of the Document Services Assistant for the library.
• Purge records on shelves according to the site records retention schedule (when applicable) under the guidance of the Document Services Assistant for the library.
• Print, issue, and coil new laboratory notebooks.
• Process and assist in audits for retrieval of documents.
