The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting solar modules and manufacturing processes to ensure products meet quality standards.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Previous quality inspection 2+ years experience
  • Solar manufacturing experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections of solar panels, materials, and components throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect products to ensure compliance with company quality standards, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Identify, document, and separate non-conforming products or materials.
  • Notify Quality and Production Supervisors of quality concerns, defects, or process deviations.
  • Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify product labels, serial numbers, and identification information as required.
  • Assist in monitoring production processes to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
  • Maintain inspection records and support traceability requirements.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair aluminum boat hulls, decks, superstructures, and related marine equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and align aluminum materials for welding and assembly.
  • Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity, quality, and compliance with company and industry standards.
