Position Overview

Sseeking skilled and detail-oriented Battery Manufacturing Technicians to support the launch of the company’s first advanced battery module manufacturing and battery pack assembly operation in Mason, Ohio.

**This role is significantly more advanced than a traditional assembly technician position and is intended for candidates with experience supporting precision manufacturing, electronics assembly, automated test systems, or similar high-quality production environments.**

About the role:

Battery Manufacturing Technicians will support critical manufacturing processes including battery assembly, wire bonding, electrical testing, inspection, and process verification activities. Technicians will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure battery systems are manufactured safely, consistently, and to the highest quality standards.

This position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced advanced manufacturing environment where precision, accountability, and attention to detail are essential.

Job Requirements:

The incoming inspection team is responsible for verifying all material orders that are received through the facility to ensure proper counts, paperwork, description, material identification, measurement and verifying invoicing.

Primary Functions:

• PMI (positive material identification) using a Niton gun
• Verify counts
• Verify invoice to packing slip and keep paperwork organized
• Use of fork truck and pallet jack
• Organization of pallets and boxes
• Use of measuring devices (Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauge)

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for documenting each shipment when it arrives at our location, verifying all material orders that are received through the facility to ensure proper counts, paperwork, and description.

Primary Competencies:

• Verify invoice to packing slip and keep paperwork organized
• Ability to ensure descriptions and quantities reflect purchase orders and invoices
• Sign, date and scan finished purchasing lists
• Verify where received inventory needs to be moved to amongst facility
• Cross communication with other departments on purchase orders, errors, certificates received
• Filing and organizing
• Printing of labels, inspections sheets, and geometric reports

• Physical demands of the role include:

Position Summary

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of welding equipment used in stainless steel manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on orbital welding systems. This role ensures optimal equipment performance, minimizes downtime, and supports production quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and repair of welding equipment, including orbital welders, TIG/MIG welders, and related systems.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues in automated and semi-automated welding machinery.

• Maintain and service orbital welding systems, including weld heads, power supplies, and gas delivery systems.

• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components associated with welding systems.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize welding processes and equipment performance.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation.

• Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of new welding equipment.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in stainless steel or metal fabrication environments.

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bearings, drives, motors, and alignment.

• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, sensors, wiring, control systems).

The Laser Operator uses computerized laser machines to engrave and cut parts according to company, customer, and regulatory agency standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate laser cutting machines for stainless steel tubing.

• Program machines using CAD/CAM or CNC software to meet production requirements.

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.

• Adjust machine settings to ensure precision cuts and optimal performance.

• Inspect finished parts to verify quality and dimensional accuracy.

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.

• Maintain production records and documentation.

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred).

• 2+ years of experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines.

• Experience with stainless steel tubing and tube laser cutting strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in machine programming (G-code, CAD/CAM software, or similar).

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and quality control.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
