Machine Operator

Location: Fairfield

Shift: 3rd shift 11:00PM-7:00AM, will train on 1st shift for 1-2 weeks before transitioning to 3rd shift

Job Overview:
We are seeking two dedicated Machine Operators to join our team. This position involves handling and loading paper into machines while ensuring smooth operation and efficiency. Candidates must be reliable, have strong attention to detail, and demonstrate a solid work ethic.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• Previous experience in machine operation
• Ability to lift and handle large paper loads (must be able to lift 50 pounds)
• Strong attendance, positive attitude, and high-performance standards
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent 

• Create quality welds
• Inspect welds for accuracy
• Prepare product to be welded by grinding, and placing in jig
• Change wire, welding, as needed.
• Change gas tanks, as needed
• Responsible for identifying and moving of all finished products to the proper location for powder coating
• Ensure all equipment is properly set-up and used in a safe manner
• Operate forklift, if required and trained.
• Performs first piece inspections as well as all subsequent inspections
• Monitor equipment and request maintenance when required.
• Perform simple maintenance and repair as required.

• Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant.
• Required to have proper and accurate entry into the time and attendance system.
• Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Operating various types of forklifts (Stand-up, reach truck and Turret Truck) to move pallets throughout the warehouse.

Verifying product quantity and quality against shipping documents.
Maintaining proper stock rotation.
Performing daily forklift inspections and reporting any maintenance issues

• 7 year clean background
