Forklift Operator – Shipping / Materials

Location: Cadillac, MI
Pay: $18.00/hour (All Shifts Available)

Assembly Resource MFG is seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Repack Operator to join our team. In this role, you will support production, packaging, and shipping operations by ensuring products are repacked accurately, properly labeled, and ready for shipment. This position is essential to maintaining quality standards, meeting customer requirements, and keeping operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Repack products according to customer specifications and quality standards
• Accurately label all containers and verify quantities
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including Hi-Lo (forklift)
• Use RF scan gun systems to split, combine, and track inventory
• Verify shipments using customer pick sheets
• Locate parts within inventory and identify components for finished goods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all work instructions, procedures, and company policies
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and dock operations as needed
• Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines
• Support additional tasks and assignments as needed

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Prior forklift (Hi-Lo) experience preferred
• Experience using RF scanners and basic computer systems
