Job Opening: Production Machine Operator
Description
- Functions as the leader on the production line.
- Partners with leads, mechanics and other production employees to address production issues and implement solutions.
- Loads and unloads material rolls from machines, verifies and sets machine settings per the sheet settings in a safe manner.
- Manages proper and timely starts/stops/restarts for machine, removes scrap and rewind.
- Assists with machine set up.Performs general production activities to ensure efficient production of high-quality product.
- Operates thermoforming, automation, and auxiliary equipment (i.e., case tapers, grinders, stackers).·
- Inspects finished or in-process products against company standards and specifications for irregularities or reject.
- Ensures compliance with regards to line clearance, raw materials, in-process inspection, manufacturing, and housekeeping.
- Conducts basic preventative maintenance, cavity changes and other technical duties.
- Troubleshoots machine for quality issues.
