Now Hiring a Payroll Administrator in Georgetown KY!
Pay: $25 per hour
Schedule: 7am-4pm Mon-Fri
Job Duties Include:
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for over 300 Team Members; reviews and ensures accuracy of approved timesheets, tracks and deducts all garnishments, Chapter 12, tax levies, child support orders, 401K loan deductions along with other miscellaneous payroll deductions
- Ensures compliance with policies as well as all federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices
- Responsible for the coordination efforts between payroll, Human Resources, and Accounting to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data (including preparation/distribution of detailed reports)
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in pay, exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, scheduling, and job title and department/division transfers
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required preferred
- 3-5 years of related experience required unless payroll skill is extensive
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with UKG payroll software. Alternately, UltiPro and Kronos experience is welcome.
