ResourceMFG has partnered with the largest PVC extruder in North America who is adding a Maintenance Electrician to their growing team!
The Maintenance Electrician’s function is to supply technical and electrical support to the plant and equipment. Ensure that Health & Safety standards are followed within the Maintenance Department and that all plant electrical equipment is maintained in good operating condition.
This position is a Direct Hire Opportunity!
Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:
- Service production electrical equipment per maintenance schedules.
- Repair equipment, processes, etc. as required.
- Computer programing, electrical design and process
- Record and document all electrical and repair records for all plant equipment.
- Instrumentation
- Fix/replace outlets, circuit breakers, motors, control systems, PLCs
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Required to work on-call overtime during maintenance emergencies and maintenance shutdowns.
- Perform preventative electrical tasks on process and facility equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Maintenance Electrician Requirements:
- Ensure that health and safety standards are followed within the Maintenance Dept.
- Ensure that Lock-out/Tag-out procedures are followed for equipment repairs and adjustments.
- Ensure that all repairs are done in compliance with legislation (building, electrical, pressure vessels codes).
- Dependable with good attendance.
- Must have the ability to work productively with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and contractors.
- Resourcefulness and self-motivating.
- Understanding of processes and materials.
- Understanding of operating principles of machines.
- Possesses mechanical skills and good judgment to repair equipment.
- Has ability to read and understand blueprints and electrical schematics.
- PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience.
- Able to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Experience with electrical systems and controls including 480V systems.
Maintenance Electrician Experience:
- High school diploma
- Journeyman Certification preferable
- Three (3) years’ experience in manufacturing electrical maintenance.
Schedule: Shift A 7am-7pm / Shift B 7pm-7am (switches every 3 months). You will work 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off. Total hours of 80.5 hours, with 17.5 hours of overtime.
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: 60-70k
