Electronics Test Technician Needed in Longmont
1st and 2nd shift avail
$20-28/hour Depending on experience
Degree or certificate in Electronics, is a requirement for the Test Tech positions.
Ensure that all tested products meet or exceed customer requirements.
Troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies to component level rejects or identify issues as engineering anomalies before final disposition to operations and/or test engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot down to component level.
• Read, interpret, and react to schematics for the troubleshooting process.
• Interface with cross-functional groups (materials, manufacturing, engineering).
• Enter and track yield/troubleshoot data for all tested products.
• Develop and improve test procedures/processes with engineering, as required.
• Interface with Customer’s Engineering Department.
• Comply with Company standards and ISO procedures, among others.
• Maintain and perform preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
• Utilize and enter data into ERP for tested and debugged assemblies.
• Support and follow all ISO standards related to company’s various Quality Management Systems.
Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing system.
• Knowledge of IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
• Pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1 & 2.
• Analytical/problem solving capability.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Must be a team player and highly motivated.
• Ability to multi-task with strong sense of urgency; ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED as well as verifiable past work experience.
