ResourceMFG has partnered with the largest PVC extruder in North America who is adding a Maintenance Technician to their growing team!
This position is a Direct Hire Opportunity!
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Service production equipment, lubricate as per maintenance schedules.
- Repair equipment, processes, etc. as required.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and organization.
- Collect, store, and maintain waste oils, grease, etc.
- Assist in the disposal of waste.
- Record and document all maintenance and repair records for all plant equipment.
- Fabricate tools and fixtures as directed by Supervisor.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Required to work on-call overtime during maintenance emergencies and maintenance.
- Shutdowns.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on process and facility equipment to ensure
- efficient operation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- Ensure that health and safety standards are followed within the Maintenance Department.
- Ensure that Lock-out/Tag-out procedures are followed for equipment repairs and adjustments.
- Ensure that all repairs are done in compliance with legislation (building, electrical, pressure vessels codes).
- Ability to work in team environment and on project related tasks
- Dependable with good attendance.
- Must have the ability to work productively with minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with co-workers, customers, vendors and contractors.
- Resourcefulness and self-motivation.
Maintenance Tech Experience:
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance. Electrical Schematics, Electronic Controls, Motor Drives (VFD’S), HVAC and Pneumatics
Schedule: Shift A 7am-7pm / Shift B 7pm-7am (switches every 3 months). You will work 5 days on, 5 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off. Total hours of 80.5 hours, with 17.5 hours of overtime.
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $24.00-$26.00 DOE
