Maintenance Mechanic Needed in Aurora!
2nd shift – 4pm to 12 am
Monday To Friday!
• Performs all repairs and adjustments of refrigeration system, doors, dock boards, truck restraints, pallet racks, sprinkler systems, MHE equipment, plumbing and electrical work in accordance with OSHA Standards.
• Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using instruments such as volunteers. ohmmeters, and pressure gauges. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot problems on an individual and group level. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use tools and equipment carefully as instructed. Must provide personal tools and toolbox.
• Conduct tests and repairs of safety equipment (Exit signs, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, etc.) to ensure OSHA and operational standards. Replace facility and warehouse overhead lights as needed.
• Maintains accurate preventive maintenance records. Able to complete daily log sheets, communicate effectively, and be proactive in recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and other mechanical concerns.
• Keeps work area clean and perform housekeeping duties as required.
• Performs related work and other job assignments as required. Provide verbal feedback to management, mechanics, and machine operators about downtime root causes, repair progress status. • Research parts needed for work/repairs and properly utilize the parts inventory.
• Available to work overtime (end of shift and during previously scheduled days off) as required by Facility Manager.

- Maintenance related training or experience required
- Previous experience fixing, repairing or providing preventative maintenance to machinery.
- Must be able to work in cold environment.
