    Pay: 70K - $90K

    Hours: 7am – 4pm

    Monday to Friday

    Job Summary:

     

    Reviews customer/industry/internal specifications to ensure compliance with stated requirements. Provides technical support to operations, customers, suppliers, and program managers as needed. Support and lead special process and customer audits. Provide training and coaching to others as required.

     

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

     

    • Production order Release
    • Production Order Maintenance
    • MRP Messages
    • Tracker/Milestone Creation and Maintenance
    • Create and maintain PO's for outside processing
    • OP Supplier Management
    • OP Supplier Scorecards
    • OP supplier/PO Issues (Late PO's, Cert Request, etc.)
    • Supervise Stockroom
    • Reviews Production schedules and plant capacity data to determine processes, tools and machines to be used. Plans
    • all states of product operations.
    • Modifies schedules to handle unexpected delays.
    • Monitor and control all material movements to maintain the integrity of production schedules.
    • Reviews production specifications and plant capacity data
    • Keeps management informed of critical status

     

    Qualifications

    Minimum Education & Experience:

    • Preferred: BS or BA degree from 4 - year college or university
    • Required: High School Degree with related experience and/or training

     

    Desirable Working Knowledge or Certifications:

    • Ability to read and interpret documents
    • 2 years in a production planning capacity with manufacturing and production control experience, preferably in an aerospace environment.
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and meet deadlines
    • Intermediate to advanced excel skills
    • Strong understanding of MRP
    • Familiarity with scheduling tools such as waterfall charts
    • Scheduling and managing outside process suppliers

    • Performs inspections and audits of facilities, equipment and processes recommending corrections or additional precautions to ensure compliance to established regulations.

    • Identify and deliver the training of workplace safety to supervisors/managers.

    • Has a broad and current knowledge of all government and applicable industry safety regulations.

    • Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

    • Establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities.

    • Establish accident prevention measures and manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.

    • Based on studies done will develop and implement plans and program for facility modifications and revision to operating methods.

    • Must be able to operate chemical cleaning system.

    • Coordinates the removal and proper disposal of hazardous waste.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

     

    Qualifications

     

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

     

    Bachelor of Administration or its equivalent and preferred 3 to 5 years’ experience

     

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Programs

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

     

    • Manage an Engineering Department with a diverse set of disciplines.
    • Organize, schedule and supervise efforts of R&D, Design and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure engineering activities are completed on schedule and within cost.
    • Execution of and peer review of detailed design activities including manufacturing drawing review, stress analysis, project schedules, etc.
    • Evaluate engineers’ performance and track their developmental needs. Mentoring of junior engineers.
    • Establish department budget and personnel requirements.
    • Support Marketing in technical/customer presentations.
    • Assure design compliance to customer requirements.
    • Schedule design reviews, department meetings and interdepartmental presentations to ensure design points are understood and are concurrent with other organization activities.
    • Ability to take “hands on” approach as well as give appropriate direction.
    • Set engineering standards and policies that promote technical excellence and interdepartmental cooperation.
    • Implement appropriate design/office automation tools and methods to ensure the efficiency of departmental design and documentation tasks.

    Qualifications

     

    Required Education & Experience:

     

    • 2 – 8+ years of experience in metallic or composite ducting and motion compensator design per ARP 699 guidelines as Project / Systems Engineer, or equivalent experience in ECS (Environmental Control System), bleed air, or AMS (air management system) system or component design within the aerospace industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree in ME, Physics, EE, Aeronautical Engineering or IE with preference toward Mechanical Engineering.
    • Advanced degree preferred. Understanding of a broad range of engineering skills.
    • Preferably in aircraft/aerospace design and structural analysis.
    • Product development background necessary.

    Job Summary:

     

    Plan, direct, control and manage the activities and staff involved with the negotiation, preparation, monitoring and termination of contracts between the company and customers to ensure the fulfillment of all contractual obligations. Acts as the Key Officer for all export compliance.

     

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Supervise staff of Contract Administrators responsible for purchase order entry, quotation coordination and submittal, backlog alignment and customer communication

    • Responsible for the conduct of all contract liaison before, during and after contract duration.

    • Develop and administer contract administration policies, systems, procedures and methods.

    • Manage and coordinate contract administration activities to ensure that contractual obligations are maintained in a manner which ensures good customer relations while representing the interest of the company.

    • Advise management of contract obligations, deficiencies, commitments, and performance.

    • Provide interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations.

    • Coordinate pre-award negotiations between company and customer.

    • Analyze impact of modifications and revisions and prepares company recommendations.

    • Supervise the conduct of special studies, investigations or analyses and provide for the preparation of reports and recommendations as required.

    • Maintain an awareness of current statutory requirements influencing contract development and administration.

    • Guide, set policies and procedures to meet the company obligations as required by ITAR

    • Perform all duties in regard to exporting company’s products outside the US

     

    Qualifications

     

    Minimum Education & Experience:

     

    BS degree or equivalent, 7-10 years of comprehensive contracts experience.

     

    Desirable Working Knowledge or Skills:

    • ERP system knowledge. Use of Epicor is beneficial

    • Ability to negotiate all terms of a contract and to assure that contractual obligations are met.

    Principal Responsibilities

    In this position you must be able to align and fit together fabricated plates, structural shapes and weldments preparatory to assembly - structural fabricated products and must be able to weld different metals to blue print.

     

    DUTES

     

    • Individual must maintain their certification stamps
    • Must be able to weld all materials to X-Ray specifications
    • Must possess the ability to work to close tolerances
    • Must be able to work to standards within operations and have the ability to make shop aids to increase production standard,
    • Must be able to build ducts without supervisor’s assistance
    • Must be capable of training other employees
    • Must be responsible for quality of workmanship
    • Must be able and willing to perform all duties of lesser classifications in both the welding and fitting disciplines
    • Prepare and fit both compound and complex duct assemblies
    • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
    • Performs other routine duties
    • Must be certified in accordance with 10QP040
    • Record SPC data in accordance with 10QP063
    • And other duties as assigned

     

    MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

     

    3 year exposure in metal fitting as a Fitter “A” and necessary training to qualify for welding parameters and or 3 years experience as a Welder with fitter training. Must past a written and practical test. Test will be based on requirements contained within this job description.
