CAD or CAM Programmer

This position is responsible for developing and optimizing programs for flat sheet and tube metal fabrication – including laser cutting, press brake, and other fabrication processes.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Create, modify, and maintain 2D and 3D CAD models, flat patterns, and CAM programs for laser and fabrication equipment.

Generate and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, and bending operations using BySoft CAM, Fusion 360, and related software.

Interpret customer drawings to produce accurate production-ready files like DXF, STP, NC code, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

3 or more years of experience in CAD/CAM programming for metal fabrication with flat and/or tube.

Understanding of CNC laser cutting, press brake programming, and fabrication workflows.

Knowledge of GD&T, sheet/tube metal materials.

This is a Monday to Friday position with Saturdays if needed.

Salary pays range is $25 to $35 an hour. Will be based on experience.
