Job Opening: Welder Helper – Structural Fitter

Position Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced Structural Fitter with welding experience. This role involves reading blueprints, fitting and assembling structural steel components, and preparing assemblies for welding while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

-Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.

-Measure, mark, and lay out structural steel components.Fit, align, and assemble structural steel members, plates, and frames to required specifications.

-Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.

-Verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.

-Work closely with welders to ensure proper fit-up prior to welding.

Requirements:

-Structural fitting experience required.

-Welding experience preferred.

-Strong fabrication skills and attention to detail.

-Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
