Location: New Caney, TX 77041

Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Shift:

·      Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM–5:45 PM

·      Saturday: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter Helper with structural fitting and welding experience. This position involves reading blueprints, fitting and assembling structural steel components, and preparing assemblies for welding while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

·      Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders

·      Measure, mark, and lay out structural steel components

·      Fit, align, and assemble structural steel members, plates, and frames according to specifications

·      Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment

·      Verify measurements and dimensions to ensure proper fit and quality

·      Work closely with welders to ensure proper fit-up before welding

·      Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements

·      Structural fitting experience required

·      Welding experience preferred

·      Strong fabrication and measurement skills

·      Ability to read and understand blueprints

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

·      Dependable and able to work the required schedule
