Select Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a leading electronics manufacturer in Van Nuys, CA!
💲 Pay: $19.00 – $21.00/hr
🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Join a growing manufacturing team responsible for building and supporting equipment that powers global communications. This role offers hands-on work in mechanical and electronic assembly within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities: ? Assemble electronic rack chassis, panels, box builds, and cable harnesses from drawings and work instructions
? Perform wire routing, soldering, and fiber optic cable harness assembly
? Inspect products and identify quality concerns to ensure specifications are met
? Support kitting of materials and components for production
? Maintain a clean and ESD-safe workstation
? Assist with product modifications, packing, and inventory of consumable parts
? Work closely with production teams to complete weekly work plans
Qualifications: ? Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
? Strong mechanical assembly skills
? Ability to read assembly drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
? Knowledge of wire routing and cable harness assembly
? Basic computer skills and ability to work from Excel-based work plans
? Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
