Location: Rogers, MN
Shift: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: $23-$30/hour DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time | Overtime Available | Occasional Saturdays Required

We are seeking an experienced Lead Welder to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in architectural metal products. This leadership role is responsible for supervising welding operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and producing high-quality aluminum and stainless-steel weldments.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG and TIG welding techniques to weld aluminum and stainless steel components.
• Supervise welding projects and support fellow welders to ensure quality and productivity goals are achieved.
• Communicate regularly with the Plant Manager regarding welding priorities and project status.
• Verify that parts meet specifications before and after welding.
• Assist with assembly and fabrication of parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience welding aluminum and stainless steel.
• Strong MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Ability to fabricate components from blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with rough grinding and DA (dual-action) sanding.
• Previous sheet metal industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Ability to accurately use calipers, squares, protractors, and other measuring tools.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Flexibility to assist with other shop duties based on production demands.
