Job Opening: Mechanical Maintenance Laborer

Experienced Mechanical Maintenance Tech

Employbridge is looking for a skilled laborer to assist the mechanical maintenance department in a manufacturing environment. Experience installing electrical and plumbing infrastructure as well as operating scissor lifts, and forklifts is preferred. This is a four-month project with full-time hours.

• Day shift, Mon-Fri
• $25 per hour
• Weekly pay

Duties Include:

• Assemble manufacturing equipment according to blueprints and pictures of finished product.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or defects.
• Install electrical and plumbing infrastructure.
• Operate scissor lift and forklift.
• Use hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain an organized and safe working environment.

Requires:

• Detail focus to ensure assembled correctly and safely; identify and correct any potential problems
• Technical skills and Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Familiarity with hand and power tools and different types of hardware
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Problem-solving skills to figure out the best way to assemble custom furniture pieces
• Math for calculating measurements and dimensions
• Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
