Quality Equipment Technician

Pay: $25-$30/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Location: Roseville, MN

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Equipment Technician to support manufacturing operations and research and development activities. This role is responsible for ensuring all testing and measuring equipment is calibrated, properly maintained, fully functional, and compliant with quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience working with technical equipment in a regulated environment and a strong commitment to accuracy and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and routine inspections on testing and measuring equipment.
• Ensure tools, gauges, and production equipment are functioning accurately and reliably.
• Coordinate and schedule external calibration and maintenance services.
• Maintain equipment records, calibration logs, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Manage calibration records within an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
• Prepare and maintain equipment-related documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Support manufacturing and R&D teams by ensuring equipment availability and compliance.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and coordinate repairs when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree, technical certification, or ISO 17025 Testing and Calibration training preferred.
• Previous experience performing equipment calibration and preventive maintenance in a regulated environment; medical device experience is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software applications.
• Experience using an electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
