Production Technician

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining safety, quality, and operational efficiency within a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently while following established production procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation & Material Processing

Set up, operate, and monitor powder processing equipment, including mills, blenders, screeners, and air classifiers.
Feed raw materials into processing equipment according to established procedures.
Follow approved machine settings and operational parameters.
Maintain accurate and timely production records and logs.
Monitor equipment performance and report any operational concerns.

Qualifications

Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Forklift experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Strong basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with basic Microsoft Word and Excel functions.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision.

Requirements

Must successfully complete respirator fit testing prior to working on the production floor.
Must be able to wear a respirator as required for the work environment.
Candidates must comply with respiratory protection requirements to ensure a proper seal and safe use of equipment.
