Shipping & Receiving Associate
Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
$18.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)
Spanish Speaking Required
Summary
We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate to support warehouse and logistics operations by coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are processed efficiently. This position plays a key role in receiving materials, preparing shipments, and maintaining compliance with shipping procedures and quality standards.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced in warehouse operations. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in Spanish and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Arrange and expedite inbound and outbound freight shipments as required
• Receive and process incoming shipments following company procedures
• Prepare and process outbound shipments to meet customer requirements
• Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and products
• Ensure compliance with shipping requirements and transportation regulations
• Complete required shipping forms and documentation
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking and recordkeeping
• Perform inventory audits and cycle counts as needed
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within shipping and receiving operations
• Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to meet customer demands
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Support quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Requirements
• Spanish speaking required
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred
• Forklift experience required
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Knowledge of shipping procedures and inventory control practices
• Ability to read and complete shipping documentation accurately
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software
• Knowledge of quality management systems and manufacturing processes
• Previous leadership or team lead experience is a plus
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
