Job Requirements

• Assist with the setup and operation of equipment used to manufacture corrugated boxes.
• Read and understand factory orders and print cards to determine proper equipment settings.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify operational issues.
• Set up and adjust:
  • Stackers
  • Dies, attachments, and print plates
  • Pull rolls, collars, and straps
  • Scores, heads, and blade combinations
  • Pre-feeders and lead edge feeders
  • Folding rails, squaring sections, and ejectors
• Verify stock size and material specifications.
• Adjust equipment for proper pressure and registration.
• Operate glue and ink systems as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Receive training and comply with:
  • Lockout procedures
  • Hearing protection requirements
  • Safety shoe requirements
  • Moving machinery safety
  • Emergency stop button locations
  • Nip point awareness
  • Conveyor safety
  • Proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques
  • Safety guards, gates, and chains
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties, including trash removal and scrap cleanup.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and safety guidelines.
