Inventory Technician

Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We’re hiring an Inventory Technician for a fast-paced manufacturing facility in Durham. This hands-on role combines forklift operation, inventory control, and material movement to support daily production operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Move materials between storage, production, and staging areas
• Organize, label, and store inventory
• Track inventory using inventory systems and Microsoft Office
• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories
• Report inventory discrepancies and stock shortages
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Inventory control or material handling experience
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
