Job Opening: Body and Collision Repair Technician

Bodyman/Wreck Mechanic

Schedule Monday – Friday One Saturday a month

8am- 5pm

Pay- $20hr++++ Depending upon experience (Level I, II or III)

Job Duties

• Ability to use welding skills and knowledge of metals to complete trailer repairs
•  Remove, repair, or replace damaged body parts
• Grind, sand, buff, prime, and paint repaired surfaces
• Ability to diagnose and repair various systems associated with trailer and dolly repair to include but not limited to: ABS diagnostics, roll doors, body repair, accident repair, air brake system inspection and repair, electrical system diagnosis and repair
• Operate a forklift
• Understand and follow operating instructions for various tools and equipment
• Ability to write concise work orders that mirror work performed daily

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
• Ability to work in the environment, hot, cold, dusty
• Lock Out Tag Out, etc.
• Follow all SOPs
• Ability to wear all needed PPE throughout work shift
• Must have his/her own tools.
